Today, we woke up to a little snow. I looked outside and enjoyed a moment of peace all to myself...even though my wild men were carrying on in the background. Ah, the bliss of fresh snow.

My Children

Mr. Stinky

7-years-old

He came home from Russia when he was 11 months old and I think we attached and bonded well. Since his brothers came home he has detached so we are working on building our attachment again.

Mr. Happy

4-years-old

He came home at 18-months and because of the trauma drama of his brother his attachment has been slow coming. No matter what this child is happy to a fault. He is a good boy and is the quiet loner type. He lives under a huge layer of PTSD and zones into his own little world often.

Mr. Screech

4-years-old

Came home at the same time as Mr. Happy at 18-months old. For the first three months he screamed non-stop unless he was sleeping and after three months started talking non-stop. He is super charming until there is no one around and then he falls apart. He is hyper-vigilant and obsessed about food. If I walk in the kitchen he is following me to see what I might be getting.
